Description
In 2025 I was a technical game designer and main artist for the "Let's Play, PGH!" projects led by the CMU Entertainment Technology Center Outreach & Engagement team, which is an ongoing series of educational, pin-ball inspired interactive installations created to encourage playful learning in public spaces through a grant initiative by Remake Learning.
Role & Responsibilities
Art Direction: Worked with team to design game design goals, objectives, and educational components for each iteration of the interactive installation. Designed and created graphics, UI elements, animations, and 3D models for the digital interface.
Game and Interaction Design: Designed and developped gameplay experience across our software and hardware components, including Unity, Touchdesigner, and external inputs from a webcamera and a physical gameboard. Worked with Narrative designer to customize gameplay with our learning objectives by creating multiple game modes.
