Description
Effervescent Shadow Bazaar was an evening-length immersive art and music experience combining designs of ambisonic 3D soundscapes, shadow and light animation, and electronic interactive devices, that took place in December 2022 at the WQED Studios in Pittsburgh, PA. The event was produced and created by students and staff at the Carnegie Mellon University School of Art, School of Music, and IDeATe.
Role & Responsibilities
With my team we created an interactive projection, the "silhouette extractor." We created the projection in Touch designer, which processed silhouettes of participants from a Kinect 360 attached to a fixture directly above the walking area/capture space. This was made possible with support from the Frank-Ratchye Further Fund (FRFF).
