Description

Junior Fellow for the Pittsburgh Tech and Media Educational Fellowship by BootUp Pittsburgh at Community Forge. Bootup, standing for "Building Our Own Technology Uplifting the People", is a community -based technology education and empowerment program based at Community Forge in Wilkinsburg, Pennsylvania.

Role & Responsibilities

As a Junior Teaching Fellow, I'm responsible for designing curriculum, facilitating classes and activities, and serving as a educator for the BootUp Academy and OST partner programs in the greater Pittsburgh region including Gwen's Girls, Boys and Girls Club of Western PA, Dragon's Den, and Pittsburgh Public Schools. Some topics I've designed and taught curriculum for include game design and development, intro to programming, animation, and electronics & microcontrollers ranging from elementary school students al the way up through the high school level.
